How to activate the app embed in your Shopify theme
The app embed is what allows 1ClickPopup to display campaigns on your storefront. This is the first step after installing the app - no campaigns will show until the embed is active.
How to activate it
- Open the 1ClickPopup app in your Shopify admin
- On the dashboard, you'll see an app embed status indicator - if it says "Inactive," click the link to manage it
- This takes you to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds
- Find 1ClickPopup in the list and toggle it on
- Click Save
That's it - the app embed is now active and your campaigns can display on your store.
Things to know
The app embed is per-theme. If you switch to a different Shopify theme, you'll need to activate the app embed again on the new theme. Your campaigns and settings carry over, but the embed itself needs to be toggled on for each theme.
You can check the status anytime. The 1ClickPopup dashboard always shows whether the app embed is active or inactive, with a quick link to manage it.
Activating the embed doesn't show anything to visitors yet. The embed just enables the app on your storefront. Campaigns only display when they're set to Active and their display rules are met.
