How to schedule a campaign for a specific date range
Use scheduling to automatically start and stop a campaign on specific dates. This is ideal for seasonal promotions, holiday sales, flash sales, or any time-limited offer.
Where to find it
- Open your campaign in the 1ClickPopup app
- Go to the Settings tab
- Scroll to the Schedule section
Options
Show between specific times – set a start date and time, and an end date and time. The campaign only shows to visitors during this window. Times use your Shopify store's timezone.
Don't use schedule (default) – the campaign runs continuously as long as its status is set to Active. No start or end date.
How scheduling works with campaign status
The campaign must have its status set to Active for the schedule to work. Scheduling adds a time window on top of the active status – it doesn't override it.
- Active + scheduled – the campaign shows only during the scheduled window
- Paused + scheduled – the campaign won't show at all, even during the scheduled window
Use cases
- Black Friday / Cyber Monday – set the campaign to start Friday morning and stop Monday night
- Holiday promotion – run a campaign for a two-week holiday window
- Flash sale – show a popup for a specific 4-hour window
- Product launch – start showing a campaign on launch day
Tip
Set up and activate your scheduled campaign ahead of time. The schedule handles the start and stop automatically – you don't need to be at your computer to toggle it on or off.
